Q: Do you supply mounts and frames?
A: Prints are supplied without mounts or frames, this is to allow you total flexibility in choosing mounts and frames to match where you intend to display the photos. It also allows me to keep postage costs to a minimum.
Q: What print finishes are available and how are photos printed?
A: All photographs are printed professionally on top-quality photography papers using lightfast, fade-resistant inks. Standard prints are available in either gloss, matt or satin finishes. All prints have a small border of white space on all sides to ensure none of the photograph is "lost" when mounted or framed.
Q: Do you offer other types of finishes and different sizes?
A: Many different finishes are available as special requests. Most photos are also available at larger and smaller sizes than shown - please contact me for more details.
Q: Some of your shots are unconventional sizes. How do I select the size for those?
A: Many of the prints are not conventional sizes due to the crops I use. To allow for this, the size of the print is always taken from the length of the longest side against your chosen size. If you need information on the exact width and height a print will be (for a given size) please don't hesitate to contact me before placing your order.
Q: When can I expect my order and how will it arrive?
A: Photographs are delivered rolled up in strong cardboard tubes, this is standard industry practice and should ensure you receieve your order in perfect condition. Orders are usually printed and dispatched within 7 working days.
Q: I have looked at the options but I am still unsure how to order?
A: To order, in the gallery under the photo first click on
to reveal the purchase print options, then select the finish (either gloss, matt or satin) by clicking in the corresponding box at the side of the size for the print you require. Then click on the corresponding
button under the 'add to cart' column. You will be taken to a PayPal payment gateway where it will list the name of your chosen print, the size and the type of paper finish you have ordered along with the item price excluding the postage and packing cost.
Q: I want to order more than one photo, do I have to submit one order per print?
A: If you require more than one print you can close the paypal window from your first order and go back to Pictualis to continue shopping. Every additional print will be added into your PayPal cart and once you have finished shopping you should continue to the checkout to complete your order.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account, how can I pay?
A: PayPal accepts all major credit cards, direct bank transfers or (if registered) payment from your PayPal account. This means you do not have to have a PayPal account or sign up for one. Once you get to the checkout stage you can chose your preferred payment method.
Q: Do you ship worldwide and how much is postage and packing?
A: Yes, I make photos available world wide and postage and packing is charged at a flat rate of €5 per print no matter where you live.
Q: Do you supply the original digital file(s)?
If you require the original digital file(s), they can usually be supplied on a CD subject to the intended use and a licence agreement. Costs for digital files are quoted on an individual enquiry basis.
Q: What happens if my order is lost or damaged in the post?
A: All orders are shipped via traceable, insured methods. If there is a problem with the order please contact me immediately and I will work with you to resolve the situation to your total satisfaction.
Q: I have a question that is not answered here, what should I do?
While I have tried to answer the most common questions here it is virtually impossible to cover every query. If the answer to your question is not here or one of the answers is not detailed enough, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. I will be glad to assist you in any way I can.
